My Very First Voki!



Today I created my very first Voki. I was really impressed by this tool and how easy it was to use. It has definitely opened my eyes to the endless possibilities that it can have in the classroom. I would use this tool in my classroom blog as a way for students to express themselves, being able to become a new character. This is an inclusive tool which is available for all learners to access, keeping identities of students private.

I recommend that everyone has a go at creating their own Voki.

    Great Voki (very pretty). This for me is one of the simplest tools to use from prep upwards. Designing a Voki is lots of fun and very personal. I agree with you that this tool is inclusive. Children who are not permitted for legal reasons to have their image posted, can participate with those who are , but then again who would not want their own Voki. Child safety and privacy of identity can be solved with the use of Voki's.

    You've both made an excellent point about using vokis to overcome privacy restraints. In addition to this, this tool would also enrich the online learning experience by catering for the needs of auditory learners and ESL learners.
